Dick studied oil painting with Delos Palmer in Stamford CT in the 1940s. His early work shows the Palmer influence as in this self portrait from 1956.
This is my first post on Dick's blog. I hope to be adding all of the extant paintings and drawings in my collection as well as the ones I can find from family and friends.
If you run across this site and have something to share and can send a picture, please email me and let me know. I'd love to be able to archive Dick's work in one place for posterity.
